MIE Docs Overview

Administrator, Publisher and Viewer rights are available from projects to folders to individual documents. 3. Every document must be checked out and checked in which enables safe multi-user editing. Documents are saved in history so there is a full accounting of who and when a file was changed. 4. MIE Docs lets you quickly get started by allowing you to drag-n-drop files from your current desktop file system into the MIE Docs file system. Once the files are in MIE Docs they can easily be retrieved, checked out and modified. 5. MIE Docs runs on the standard SQL server database which is fast and flexible. The server installation will create and update the database without any scripts or database management skills.

Note: there is 4 GB maximum database size if you choose to use MSSQL Express (free).

Requirements:
- MIEDocs Client requires WindowsXP or newer. (for .Net Framework 3.5)
- MIEDocs Server requires Windows 2000 SP4 or newer (2000 Server, XP, Vista...). (.Net Framework 2.0 or newer)
